Troops to Suits is a non-profit career building program designed to help veterans build successful businesses and long-term careers based on their passions, dreams and goals. We believe supporting our troops is honorable and holds great significance in our community. Our mission is to reach military veterans early in their transition process and coach them in building sustainable businesses and rewarding careers in Sonoma County.
We believe by tapping into core values, identifying our passion and building a solid foundation around our purpose, massive success is possible. We also believe that the men and women who choose to serve are some of the most prideful, brave, noble and courageous members of our society. Their success is pivotal to local economic development. This program will dramatically increase their chance for long-term success and strengthen our community through job creation.
Program Director, Rita Constantini, understands the challenges our troops are facing when returning home. She is a military veteran who served in the Middle East as a US Army Black Hawk helicopter crew chief; she is a successful business owner who has set her sights on impacting our community by helping veterans realize their dreams and build incredible lives here at home. When asked why she founded Troops to Suits she said, “As a soldier, I felt proud to serve my country; I felt it was honorable to wear the uniform and that it was my duty to answer the calling to serve our nation. As a veteran I feel fortunate to be one of the ones who made it home safe. Upon my returned I found it difficult to readjust and thrive in a post-military career, my current call to serve is to help those exiting the military pursue meaningful careers."
